A prestigious five-star hotel in Chalkidiki is seeking an experienced and dynamic Procurement Manager ( full-time permanent position ) to oversee the purchase of goods and services essential for the smooth operation of the hotel.

The Role

The suitable candidate will be responsible for:
Identifying, evaluating, and maintaining relationships with suppliers to secure high-quality products and services
Managing the procurement process for all goods and services
Leading high-value contract negotiations with suppliers to achieve the best deals without compromising on quality
Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and the hotel’s procurement policies for all purchases
Training, mentoring, and leading the procurement team, ensuring high performance and adherence to hotel standards
Monitoring and controlling procurement expenses, identifying opportunities for savings while maintaining product quality
Providing regular reports to senior management on purchasing activities, cost savings, supplier performance, and budget adherence

Requirements

Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
Minimum 5 – 6 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management, ideally within the hospitality industry
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex data and identify trends
Strong experience in high-value contract negotiations and managing supplier relationships
Exceptional command of English, demonstrated in both oral and written communication
Expertise in risk assessment, financial principles and mitigation related to procurement 
Proficiency in procurement software and other relevant IT tools
Ability to work under pressure and meet performance targets
Reference letters from previous employers are required
