A prestigious five-star hotel in Chalkidiki is seeking an experienced and dynamic Procurement Director to lead the procurement strategy and oversee supplier relationships. This full-time, permanent position offers the opportunity to shape procurement practices that align with the hotel’s luxury standards and financial goals, manage high-level negotiations, and drive cost-saving initiatives while ensuring exceptional quality and guest satisfaction

The Role

The suitable candidate will be responsible for:
Developing and implementing a comprehensive procurement strategy that aligns with the hotel’s luxury standards and financial objectives
Managing and nurturing long-term relationships with key suppliers to secure favorable terms and maintain high product and service quality
Leading high-value contract negotiations with suppliers to achieve the best pricing and terms while ensuring quality control
Leading and developing a high-performing procurement team, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and collaboration
Assessing and mitigating risks associated with procurement, including supply chain disruptions and price volatility
Implementing cost-saving initiatives without compromising the hotel’s 5-star standards, balancing cost efficiency with quality
Setting KPIs and performance criteria for suppliers, regularly reviewing their performance to ensure alignment with hotel standards
Ensuring all procurement activities comply with relevant health, safety, and legal regulations

Requirements

Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or a related field
Minimum 5 – 7 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management
Strong experience in high-value contract negotiations and managing supplier relationships
Exceptional command of English, demonstrated in both oral and written communication
Expertise in risk assessment and mitigation related to procurement
Proficiency in procurement software and other relevant IT tools
Ability to work under pressure and meet performance targets
Reference letters from previous employers are required
