Description
A prestigious five-star hotel is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to join their finance team for a full 12-month period of employment.
The Role
The suitable candidate will be responsible for:
Managing daily financial transactions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, expense vouchers, and receipts
Assisting with the preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets
Performing regular account reconciliations to ensure accuracy
Supporting the finance department with audits, tax filings, and other financial duties
Assisting in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures
Contributing to the enhancement of financial processes and systems
Requirements
Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
At least 2 years of experience in accounting roles, preferably in the hospitality industry
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
Exceptional command of English, demonstrated in both oral and written communication
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and analysis
Knowledge of accounting principles and regulations
Reference letters from previous employers are required
