Corporate Lawyer/ Head of Legal Department (ADM 2807), Thessaloniki
Description
A leading tourism group of companies in Northern Greece, renowned for its exceptional service and continuous expansion through strategic investments, is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Corporate Lawyer to take charge of their Legal Department.
The Role
The suitable candidate in this role will be responsible for handling various corporate legal processes such as litigation, mergers & acquisitions, tax, compliance issues, transactions, and agreements, while also researching and mitigating potential legal risks. He/She will guide the Board of Directors to ensure compliance with rules and regulations, represent the company in legal proceedings, and structure, draft, and review reports and other legal documents.
Requirements
Holder of a Master’s degree in Law
At least 5 – 10 years of working experience as a Corporate Lawyer – preferably in the hotel industry
Very good knowledge of commercial and contract law
Knowledge of labour law will be considered a strong plus
English: Proficiency level – Oral and Written
Strong negotiation and communication skills, along with the ability to multitask and thrive under pressure
Expert analytical skills and the ability to multitask effectively
Reference letters from previous employers are required
